Coil Zipper - Flame Retardant

Two versions of Flame-Retardant zippers are available. The cheapest solution is recommended for application where the zipper does not suffer a
consistent number of washing cycles (furnishings, for example). In fact, for this first option, flame retardant properties are conferred by a non-permanent
flame-retardant treatment. On the other hand, the newest and more performant version of flame-retardant zippers are constituted by an intrinsically flame-retardant polyester tape, enriched with phosphorus components. And by a spiral made with flame retardant polyamide.
In this case, flame retardant properties are guaranteed through all the life of the zipper. Even if they do not reach the fire resistance values ??of metal zippers with meta-aramid tape or die-cast zippers with PA66 teeth and meta-aramid tape, their erformance is very high and remains intact after washing.
